Acupuncture treatment is by using certain operating techniques to insert very thin, sterile, special metal needles into specific parts of the human body (acupoints), stimulating the body to produce its own reaction, thereby producing the effect of curing diseases. Acupuncture is quick effective and simple to perform.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
The earliest record of acupuncture in China was around 100 BC. TCM believes that the meridian system in the human body is responsible for transporting the “qi” and “blood” throughout the body. However, when the meridian system is blocked, the transport of these substances is affected, allowing “evil qi” (various factors that cause pathological changes) to invade, and then the human body will begin to develop abnormal pathological changes. When the needles are inserted into the body, it will stimulate the body’s own reaction (like soreness, numbness, swelling, heaviness and other sensations), strengthen the circulation of qi and blood, overcome the blockage of the meridians, restore the meridian system to normal, and bring your body into balance and harmony, so that the disease can be cured.
